BPT - Bachelor of Physiotherapy

Bachelor of Physiotherapy or BPT is a 4-year undergraduate program that deals with the science of physical movement. The course also highlights the importance of six months of mandatory clinical internship. 

Those who have completed their secondary education (Class 12 or equivalent) in relevant discipline from a recognized board are eligible to apply for this course. 

BPT Admission is generally fulfilled on the basis of entrance examinations conducted at the national and state level like - IPU CET, BCECE, VEE, etc. However, many institutions provide direct admission to the course either on the basis of academic aggregate or first cum first serve basis.

BPT Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria listed below:

  • Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
  • The candidate should have pursued science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects.
  • A minimum aggregate score of 50% or equivalent CGPA at the 10+2 level (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

Some Entrance exams may be region specific and thus might need you to produce your domicile certificate.
