MD (Doctor of Medicine)/ MS (Master of Surgery)
MD or Doctor of Medicine is the post-graduate specialised course preferred by almost all MBBS students. Pursuing MD gives an in-depth knowledge about a variety of subjects such as Anatomy, General Medicine, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Anaesthesia, Orthopaedics, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Medical Oncology, Neurology, Medical Gastroenterology etc.
MS or Masters in Surgery is another postgraduate course opted by the maximum number of MBBS students. The MS degree is awarded in the field of surgery to the MBBS doctors according to their chosen specific specialisations. The MS gives a detailed understanding and in-depth knowledge of the surgical skills to the doctor and validates the capability of the doctor to perform major and minor surgeries on the human body. The MS also provides hands-on experience on real-world problems about human anatomy.
The course curriculum for both MD/MS is specific to the chosen subject and gives an in-depth understanding of the subject with hands-on training. The students can choose their desired field of medicine and pursue their MD/MS career.

Eligibility |
The candidate should be a graduate in Medicine (M.B.B.S)from any university recognised by the Medical Council of India. The candidate should have completed satisfactorily the Rotating compulsory internship of one year in an institution recognised by the Medical Council of India the candidate should have obtained permanent Registration of any State Medical Council. No candidate shall be admitted to any postgraduate degree/diploma course unless the candidate has obtained and produced the eligibility certificate issued by the University. NEET PG Cut off 2020
